Burglary Sentencing Result - Stoughton

Four Albanian men and a British woman have been sentenced to a combined total of more than 38 years in prison for their roles in a highly organised series of high‑value burglaries, during which approximately £1 million worth of property was stolen.

Following a complex multi‑force investigation led by Derbyshire officers, the group were linked to at least 59 burglaries across the UK, including nine in Derbyshire. This included offences in Quarndon, Allestree, Duffield, Holmesfield, Ridgeway, Derby and Stoughton, where properties were targeted for jewellery, watches, designer handbags and cash.

This investigation highlights the importance of cross‑border intelligence sharing in tackling organised acquisitive crime and demonstrates a clear commitment to pursuing offenders regardless of where they are based.
